Do you want to volunteer?
We have information about over 300 volunteering opportunities with more than 250 local organisations (charities, statutory organisations such as hospitals and social services and community groups). We are a registered charity and our service is free of charge.We do not run volunteering projects ourselves but recruit volunteers for a whole range of organisations across Cambridge and South Cambs.We are here to help you find the volunteering opportunity that is right for you. We will not put any pressure on you to volunteer – the decision is yours, but we can help you by providing you with information about your choices.
Information on volunteering locally:
- Do-it! All our current volunteer opportunities are listed online at www.do-it.org You can search by postcode, interest area, etc. If you spot an opportunity that you like, you can go through a simple online registration process and then we will send you the details. Alternatively you can download a VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FORM (please save it to your own computer before editing) and email the completed form to us email@example.com
- If you need a bit more help, then we can offer you a confidential one-to-one chat with a member of staff to discuss what you would like to do. Appointments currently Tuesday 10am – 2pm and Thursday 10 am – 1pm. We also run a Saturday Drop-in on the first Saturday of the Month 11am – 1pm at Cambridge Central Library (in the entrance).
